6th ANNUAL AIKEN HOLIDAY PARTY
Pre-Launch, The Aiken Foundation (official launch in 2021 due to global pandemic)
ATLANTA, GEORGIA - The Aiken Foundation, a Nonprofit Organization, is pleased to announce the pre-launch of The Aiken Foundation at the 6th Annual Aiken Holiday Party, which was be held on Saturday, December 5, 2021, in Atlanta, Georgia. The Aiken Foundation was incorporated by the State of Georgia Secretary of State as a domestic nonprofit corporation on October 22, 2020. The dual purpose of this “party for a purpose” was to introduce and pre-launch The Aiken Foundation and celebrate the holiday season.
The event’s guests represented 48 attendees of which 41 were African American males, 6 were African American females and 1 was Caucasian female. The Co-Founders also are proud that all staff and businesses used for this event were black-owned businesses and LGBTQIA affirming or friendly.
Due to the ongoing impacts of the global pandemic, a full Covid-19 protocol was in place to include a maximum guest list of 50 individuals, temperature checks upon entry, completed Covid-19 attestations, encouragement and availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and sanitation stations throughout space. This event was private, invite only event, not open to the public.
