Corey is the Founder/Chief Operating Officer of Carolina Gamerz, a locally-owned and family owned mobile entertainment company that offers mobile game truck, video games, battleball, laser tag and bubble soccer. He founded this company in 2019 and Carolina Gamerz has become a premier party entertainment in the Charleston area. Corey is the Lead Pastor of Grace Community Church of Charleston a multi-cultural faith-based ministry with a mission statement “to plant, develop and provide oversight for churches and businesses.” He co-founded this church in 2017. In his spare time, Corey enjoys spending time with his family and children. Corey holds a Bachelor of Science in Religion degree from Liberty University. Corey resides in Charleston, South Carolina with his wife and 5 children.
Larry B. Carter II, MEd, Treasurer
U.S. Census Bureau
Carolina Larry, affectionately known by stage name “Phylle,” is currently employed with the United States Census Bureau’s National Partnership Program where he supports LGBTQ+ and the Black/African American portfolio. Prior to his career with the Census Bureau, Larry previously served as a Diversity Coordinator and Lead Teacher with Atlanta Public Schools. In entertainment, his stage presence has ranged from amphitheaters to intimate settings with an acting role in “B’ Boy Blues,” stage play multi-state touring roles as a lead character in “Love, Sex and Marriage” and “Before Black Lives Matter” and features on web series “The Boys Next Door” and “Love, Sex and Marriage.” Additionally, as a music artist, Larry also uses music as an evolving movement of love with his new EP “WORTHY” being released in December 2020. Larry also has previously held the position of Treasurer with his local neighborhood association. Larry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Master of Education degrees from Georgia State University. His hobbies include real estate and home repairs and projects. Larry resides in metro-Atlanta with his husband.
Ezra T. Dunbar, Secretary
Ezra is an Assistant Property Manager where he supervises a team of employees and contractors and manage the day-to-day operations of an apartment community with over 380 apartment units. Ezra has over 3 years of experience in the property management industry. Ezra is also a certified Personal Trainer and has been for over 4 years. Ezra is currently in the process of obtain his real estate license and credentials. Prior to property management, Ezra had over 7 years of experience in the retail, bookkeeping and telecommunications industry. Ezra was formally educated in South Carolina’s Richland One County Public School system. His hobbies include traveling and fitness training. Ezra resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Gilbert R. Aiken
Gilbert is a retired military veteran with over 22 years in the United States Navy. Gilbert is the Owner of Coan Enterprize where he oversea contracts and deliver services that provide commercial cleaning services. Gilbert has participated in numerous strength-based and physical-strength challenges to include running and cycling. Gilbert was formally educated in South Carolina’s Charleston County Public School system. His hobbies include training for a triathlon, cycling and any physical fitness activity. Gilbert resides in Charleston, South Carolina.
Brandi S. Reeves, Esq.
Brandi is a practicing attorney where she represents indigent clients charged with major felonies. Brandi also serves as the Lead Attorney Coach for Atlanta Public School’s D.M. Therrell High School Mock Trial Team. She also sits on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Bar Committee, B.A.S.I.C.S. (Bar Association Support to Improve Correctional Services), in addition to mentoring young girls in the community and volunteering free legal services. Brandi is proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and past alumni of LEAD Atlanta, Class of 2018. Brandi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Albany State University and Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University School of Law. In her spare time, Brandi enjoys spending time with her family. Brandi resides in metro-Atlanta with her husband and two children.

Patrick West is a Project Manager for Medstar Health with over 8 years of experience in the healthcare IT industry as a subject matter expert for the implementation and optimization of medical voice recognition software. In addition to his career in healthcare, Patrick is a serial entrepreneur owning businesses in both the real estate and the alcohol industry. He also is active in his hometown community of Johnston, South Carolina where he serves on the Board of Directors for the Edgefield County Youth Empowerment Center. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Charleston Southern University. Patrick’s hobbies include bass fishing and tennis. Patrick resides in metro-Atlanta.

Davon is a Risk Advisor at Willis Towers Watson, a global insurance firm, where he oversees the risk management operations for large corporations in the Southeast United States. Davon serves on the Inclusion and Diversity Board at Willis Towers Watson promoting and advocating for minority issues. Davon has been working in the insurance industry in various capacities for almost 10 years. Davon is also a proud “Big Brother” and mentor within the Big Brother Big Sister of Metro Atlanta organization. Outside of work, Davon is a coach for Emory University’s basketball team where he extends his passion for mentorship and motivate his student players with their post-secondary studies. In his spare time, Davon enjoys learning to play the guitar, working out, and also playing sports such as basketball and golf. Davon holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree from Coastal Carolina University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Walden University. Davon resides in metro-Atlanta with his fiancé.
