The Aiken Foundation was co-founded by Antwan and Jeremy, both of whom serve as primary officers. The Foundation is also supported by 7 board members that help provide some capacity building that support the business operations. The Board of Directors at The Aiken Foundation is a 100% giving board.
Antwan and Jeremy are both double-minorities, African American and LGBTQ+, which led to the creation of the Foundation which invest and build capacity for nonprofit organizations and local charities that are serving communities that look and feel like the co-founders. The co-founders reside in the City of Atlanta and are deeply committed to improving their local and surrounding communities, as well as beyond.
Additionally, Antwan and Jeremy are managing members of The Aiken Group LLC, also headquartered in the City of Atlanta, which has a mission to “to own, operate and develop franchise businesses and other small businesses.” The co-founders currently own and operate an Eggs Up Grill restaurant serving breakfast, brunch and lunch in Morrow, Georgia and two Subway Restaurants located on Camp Creek and inside Walmart on Cascade Road, both located in Southwest Atlanta.
The Aiken Group LLC, created in 2019, is the main partner and supporter of The Aiken Foundation. Deeply believing in the mission of The Aiken Foundation, the co-founders have committed to reallocating a portion of the profit from The Aiken Group LLC, to support the Foundation’s mission and purpose. As rising philanthropists and entrepreneurs, Antwan and Jeremy are excited and optimistic to create opportunities and revolution for so many minority communities.
Antwan and Jeremy have been married since 2018 and reside in Southwest Atlanta

Antwan is the Chief Executive Officer/Co-Founder of The Aiken Foundation and the current Co-Owner & Operator of Eggs Up Grill Restaurant in Morrow, Georgia and two Subway Restaurants in Southwest Atlanta. Antwan is also a Licensed Psychotherapist with work experience in an Emergency Room and community health clinic settings. Also, Antwan is also the Owner and Founder of A.G. Aiken Consulting where he provides community-based behavioral health evaluations and assessments. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Professor of Social Work and Political Science at Clayton State University and Georgia Military College. Antwan has served on various community and civic committees that impact areas of public policy, domestic violence, child welfare, state ethics and childcare. He is a proud alumnus of Outstanding Atlanta's Class of 2021, Leadership Buckhead’s Class of 2020 and LEAD Atlanta’s Class of 2018. Antwan is currently a participant in Leadership Clayton's Class of 2023. Antwan holds a Master of Public Administration, Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Arts, with honors, in Criminology and Criminal Justice degrees from the University of South Carolina. His hobbies include hiking and traveling. Antwan resides in metro-Atlanta with his husband.
Jeremy C. Aiken

Jeremy is the Co-Founder of The Aiken Foundation and the current Co-Owner & Operator of Eggs Up Grill Restaurant in Morrow, Georgia and two Subway Restaurants in Southwest Atlanta. In this role, Jeremy is responsible for supervising staff, performance evaluation, health and safety, compliance, talent acquisition, training and coaching. Jeremy is also the Chief Operating Officer/Managing Member of The Aiken Group LLC which has a mission “to own and operate franchise businesses and other small businesses.” Prior to Subway, Jeremy had over 10 years of experience as a Cake Decorator & Pastry Chef. Jeremy was formally educated in South Carolina’s Dorchester County Public School system. Jeremy’s hobbies include baking and fitness. Jeremy resides in metro-Atlanta with his husband.
